The Power and Purpose of God’s Water Systems
A 5-Day Creation Science Unit from Raising Outsiders
When I started building Raising Outsiders, I dreamed of helping families get outdoors and see the beauty of God’s creation. I believe that God created such breathtaking moments in nature for all creation to enjoy, learn, and heal from. I hoped to build lessons that made learning feel alive again, less about screens and more about discovery. Lessons that took us back outside, where children can see God’s design, not just read about it.
I’m thrilled to announce that our first full unit, The Power and Purpose of God’s Water Systems, is officially here!
This 5-day creation science study invites students to explore one of God’s most powerful creations—water—through Scripture, hands-on science, and outdoor exploration. Each day blends faith, observation, and reflection to help children of all abilities learn through experience.
Inside the teacher guide, you’ll find:
- Step-by-step, open-and-go lessons that connect Bible study, science, and journaling
- Adaptations for multiple ages and abilities — including nonverbal and sensory learners
- Seasonal outdoor activities and indoor options for every climate
- Built-in safety, reflection, and Scripture integration for homeschool or co-op settings
And I’m excited to share
✨ Student Workbooks are in design now!
Each workbook will follow the 5-day rhythm of this unit, giving students space for journaling, sketching, vocabulary, and Scripture reflection. They’ll be available soon to pair perfectly with The Power of Water teacher guide.
This first release is just the beginning of Raising Outsiders, a curriculum built for families who want to raise children who are rooted in truth, reaching for light, and learning through God’s creation.
